In Barano you’ll find the wonderful Maronti beach, which is also the longest, stretching for about 3 km.
These are only a few of the most important beaches, but the island is full of warm water inlets, such as the one in Sorgeto, or small sandy shores where it is possible to have a quiet swim. Beach umbrella and deckchair hire is available in almost all the beaches, but there are also many stretches where access to the beach is free. Most beaches can be reached by public transport.
